Using a blue and orange colour palette, I have create a series of abstract gouache paintings. I have tried to create a mood with the colours and shapes, although I think that this should be interpreted by the viewer. I tried to make each painting work in unison with the other colours around it, so overall the colours move through blue into orange and then back to blue again. I did this by painting each square chronologically, so the next one is response to the previous colour palette. I think this was fairly effective, however I think the colours could be more varied and vivid in the way that the paintings I have done previously are.
